![]() I immediately removed the arrow from the rails incase this thing was going to all of a sudden send a broadhead somewhere where it wasn't designed to go!! As I reached in my backpack for my de-cocking rope the limb splintered in too. I pick up the bow to inspect it to find the left limb had split. ![]() I wasn't in the blind for 20 minutes when I hear a loud cracking sound followed by an even louder crack 15 seconds later. I took it out for the 2nd hunt this year on. 15 arrows through it 5-7 to make sure it was sighted in and the rest was shooting the de-cocking arrow through it to de-cock it. I used it 5 times in 2019 shooting a total of approx. The Crossbow was originally $499.00 but Dicks was having a Flash Sale where they took $100.00 off the price. I purchased a Killer Instinct Crossbow (Ripper 415) on from Dicks Sporting Goods (7675 Warehouse Row Liberty Township, OH. I'm completely fed up and hope the BBB can help me get this resolved there are also about 20 other people getting this same run around story from the killer instinct ******** group page as well ![]() I spend $500 for a crossbow I've shot less the 30 times and was never able to **** with it. I bought a killer instinct crossbow earlier in the year, all over there website ******** page the hypt yo how great there warranty is witch was one of my deciding factors when I choose to buy there bow.So October of this year I contacted them that my bow was coming apart * a known manufacturer flaw as there are 100's on the "killer instinct hunters" page on ********) and was told November the parts would be back in stock and be shipped out, I called back mid November and was told December they would ship then I called back then is January * at this point I asked for a refund or gift card so I could buy a crossbow I could use of another brand and the only answer I got was we can give u some free arrows, that I can't shoot because my bow is unsafe to use ) now here we are in February I feel I have been patient enough I want my money back so I can buy something I can **** with this year. I am tired of getting the run around, I just want a refund at this point. So far I have been lucky the snapped line hasnt caused me any physical harm. At this point hunting season will be done and I will have taken this in for many repairs spending more than what the bow cost in the first place. Its been 10 days and I have not been able to use my crossbow without it breaking. Even with the new parts the string is already starting to rip. I just got it back from repairs on 10/10/22 and shot it to see if it will work this time. I contacted customer service they sent new strings again and a new trigger assembly, I had to take it and pay to get the new equipment installed for $50. I took it out the next day October 2nd went to shoot again and the new strings snapped. After calling around I found a store 45 minutes away that is a killer instinct dealer had to pay $80 for new strings. I purchased this bow in the spring of 2022, took it out for the first time on opening day of bow season, Octowent to shoot at a deer and the strings snapped.
